Sunday, March 4, 2018 @ 9:00 am will be our last volunteer event at the Fillmore Fish Hatchery! Come volunteer with us, Sierra Club and Friends of the Santa Clara River to build an interpretive garden for the community to enjoy and learn about native plants. We are also restoring a perennial wetland just outside of the interpretive garden. Activities may include: planting, weeding, watering, mulching, and building the nature trail. We suggest you wear closed-toed shoes, pants, long-sleeve shirt and a hat. If you have extra gloves or shovels at home, don’t hesitate to bring them!
We hope to see you there. If you have any questions please email us at scrconservancy@gmail.com
